Accessibility Statement

Risk Horizon is committed to making its platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or magnification. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Status

Where things stand

This is a work in progress, not a claim of full conformance. We audit the site using axe-core, an automated accessibility testing engine, across both the public site and the authenticated platform, and we address what it finds. Automated tools are a starting point, not a full audit — industry estimates put their coverage at roughly 30–40% of WCAG success criteria. Issues like focus order, the quality of screen-reader announcements, and real assistive-technology usability require manual testing, which we're continuing to work through.

Measures Taken

What we've checked and fixed

• Color contrast across text, links, and interactive controls, checked against WCAG's 4.5:1 (normal text) and 3:1 (large text / UI components) thresholds.
• Form fields and controls — inputs, selects, and checkboxes — carry programmatic labels for screen readers, not just visual placeholders.
• Links embedded within body text are visually distinguishable (underlined), not identified by color alone.
• Scrollable content areas are keyboard-reachable, not mouse/touch-only.
• Automated regression scans run against key pages before changes ship, so fixed issues don't silently come back.
